Commissioning original artwork is a fantastic way to commemorate your car or motorcycle in all its glory, or to give a unique and special gift.
Each piece of work is individually tailored to your needs, be it a portrait of your car or motorcycle, or an illustration of you driving on the road or at a track day. Work can be done against a blank background, a track, or a specially selected scene that suits the style of your car or motorcycle. Anything from a beach scape to a forest scene, the choice is yours.
Once the subject matter and price have been agreed, and all reference material collected, i'll start work. Working from a photograph, either one that you have, or one taken by myself, i'll start by doing a pencil drawing and then, if required, expertly fill in the fine detail using acrylic paint. Everything from the weave of carbon fibre to the reflection in chrome, is painted using precise brush strokes to create the ultimate photo-realistic painting. Any dents, or patches of rust can be painted away to create that 'brand new' look.
I also offer a modification service that allows you to customise your drawing or painting to more of a conceptual piece of work. Body kits, different alloy wheels, exhausts, rear wings, anything you want can be drawn and painted to create a unique one-off illustration. If you want to have me illustrate you and your car or motorcycle racing around a track, no problem.
All my work is completed on board, in sizes; A4, A3 and A2. This allows the work to fit almost all standard frames.
Artwork starts at £100, and a 20% deposit is required to meet the cost of materials, the remaining balance due once the illustration has been completed, and you are completely happy with the result.
The time for delivery of your artwork depends on the amount of work involved, but usually takes 2 - 4 weeks.
